The Hout Bay Ratepayers Association is an organization that represents the interests and needs of all Hout Bay ratepayers. Their core purpose is to represent the constitutional rights of all property owners in Hout Bay, build common ground across the diversity of people and interests represented, and improve the livelihoods and quality of life of all who live and work in Hout Bay. They aim to protect the interests and rights of law-abiding rate-paying citizens of Hout Bay.

Ratepayers Association Vision.
To improve people’s quality of life in Hout Bay by supporting and promoting existing initiatives, developing and managing new initiatives aligned with enhancing social inclusion, improving current living conditions, and educational outcomes, promoting integrated economic and social development and improving the built and natural environment. Furthermore, we aim to manage and take to task the Constitutional Rule of Law to overrule any unlawful decisions made by the government that will negatively impact our community.
